Today, the ether of mass media is often a tool for manipulating public opinion.
This is made possible by the chaos that prevails within it. The Internet is an ideal environment for creating a platform for information synthesis, one that can provide access to reliable and well-organized data about the world around us.
Imagine a multi-storey glass office tower in which hundreds of people work.
They are the editors of Integrated Active Information. On every floor, teams work on different problems of contemporary society. Thanks to them, every person can connect to the information base that creates the Synthetic Collective Intellect.
Ideally, such a modern database would be free public information. Even more interesting possibilities would arise from combining such a living database with a television news program or an internet portal such as the Google or Edge search engine.
In the case of a portal, every internet user could personally choose which topics they would like to receive update notifications about. At the moment, this is science fiction, but why could this project not begin דווקא in Poland? Making up-to-date and complete databases available to the whole of society could cause important decisions to be made in a broad circle, rather than by a narrow group of randomly selected decision-makers.
Perhaps soon each of us will be able to feel the satisfaction of exploring a problem that concerns us, one that until now has been too vast or too difficult to unravel alone. There are countless topics, from many different fields, that humanity has been reflecting on for generations, topics that are the subject of public discourse, and what all of us need are comprehensive and up-to-date pieces of information. Important topics include, for example: DEMOCRACY, GLOBALIZATION, CLIMATE, PUBLIC FINANCES, … If the first Integrated Information project arouses interest, then I would like—if strength permits—to establish a foundation or a startup that would deal with further complex issues.
Thank you.
